9. Premium subscription, payment and right of withdrawal
9.1 Offer and pricing
Lira offers a free plan ("Essential") and a paid plan ("Premium") billed at €49.90 per year or €7.99 per month. Current pricing is displayed on the Pricing page before any purchase.
9.2 Payment and billing
Payments are processed by our payment provider Stripe. The Premium subscription renews automatically: it is tacitly renewed at each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current rate, unless cancelled before the renewal date.
9.3 Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time from your profile ("Manage subscription"). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: you keep Premium access until that date, then your account automatically reverts to the Essential plan, with no further renewal or charge.
9.4 Right of withdrawal (14 days)
Under Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from your first payment to exercise your right of withdrawal and obtain a full refund of your Premium subscription, with no justification required.
To exercise this right, contact us at contact@readwithlira.com, stating the email address associated with your account. The refund is issued to the payment method used, within a maximum of 14 days from your request.
9.5 Refunds beyond 14 days
Past this 14-day period, payments already made are non-refundable, including in the event of early cancellation: Premium access remains available until the end of the paid period, in accordance with Section 9.3.
10. Suspension and termination
10.1 By the user
You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. Deletion results in the permanent erasure of all your data within 30 days.
10.2 By Lira
Lira reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in the event of a violation of these Terms, without notice or compensation, in particular in the event of importing unlawful content or abusive use of the service.
11. Changes to these terms
Lira may amend these Terms at any time. In the event of a substantial change, users will be notified by email at least 15 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before any legal action. Failing that, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
