Before you start

What reading level do I need?

The paths cover A1 to A2, A2 to B1 and B1 to B2. Check each guide’s prerequisites and try its text. These labels describe the readings; completing a guide does not certify a language level.

What can I do for free?

The Free plan includes two new guided lessons a day. Premium makes guided lessons unlimited. You can read and try the example on this page without an account.

Does Learn teach speaking too?

Learn focuses on reading, comprehension and vocabulary. You can listen to word pronunciation in the translation panel. The paths do not include conversation with a teacher or spoken feedback.

Can I read my own books as well?

Yes. In the same app, you can import texts and books, read from the library and follow Learn guides. Saved words all go into the same vocabulary notebook.
